I haven't travelled with it, but that's because I'm still planning the layout for all the things I want to keep in the case (star tracker, camera and accessories.) I love the wheeled/carry-on factor.
I am a traveling automotive tech. I purchased this case at the beginning of 2019 for all my essential tools. It has with stand alot of travel and abuse even the shipping back from Norway going through several shipping carriers. I would highly recommend this case for alot of different uses. I am currently looking at purchasing one of the bigger ones for other work equipment and possibly my drum hardware.
Only issue I have is my buddy ordered the same case. He got a “made in Canada” sticker on his and I did not and that made me sad :( That’s all. Everything else is amazing.
I love everything about the case except for a couple minor things I’d like to see improved someday. The spring loaded handle is convenient and works great, but is loose and makes quite a bit of rattle noise when rolling on cement or anything other than carpet or linoleum. If I tape it down it is quiet but unusable. I’d like the side of the lid opposite of the handle (becomes case bottom while rolling) to be a bit thicker so it holds up longer over time after being on concrete and other rough materials and wearing out. Neither are huge issues and I highly recommend Nanuk cases!
